About the Journal

Indonesian Journal of Agricultural Science (IJAS) is an international peer-reviewed journal and publishes original research papers from authors all over the world under a broad scope of agricultural sciences. The aim of the journal is to disseminate various aspects of agriculture with the main focus on agronomy, animal science, soil science, climate and environment related to agricultural aspects.  The journal is previously published as Indonesian Journal of Crop Science (1985 - 1999). This journal is published in one volume of two issues per year (June and December) by the Indonesian Agency for Agricultural Development and Modernization. The journal publishes primary research articles of current research topics, not simultaneously submitted to nor previously published in other scientific or technical journals. General review and short communication articles will not be accepted. The journal maintains strict standards of content, presentation, and reviewing. The official language of the journal is English. The journal receives papers from all over the world if they make an original contribution to the experimental or theoretical understanding and application of theories and methodologies of some aspects of agricultural sciences. The definition of agricultural science is kept as broad as possible to allow the widest coverage in the journal including socio-economic aspects.
