Strategi Pengembangan Agrowisata: Studi Kasus di Desa Wisata Kaligono (Dewi Kano), Kecamatan Kaligesing, Kabupaten Purworejo

Abstract

Kaligono Tourism Village (Dewi Kano) is one of the tourist villages located in the west of Menoreh hill, Kaligesing Sub-District, Purworejo Regency. There are some agriculture potentials supporting the agro-tourism in this sub-district. This study aims to assess villagers’ perception on the agro-tourism area development plan, to appraise impacts of agro-tourism development, and to determine agro-tourism development strategy. SWOT analysis approach is applied in this study. The villagers fully support the agro-tourism development plan. Agro-tourism will be beneficial to the villagers in terms of social-economy and environment. Strategy to develop Dewi Kano agro-tourism is progressive by optimizing all existing potencies and opportunities.
