Strategi Diplomasi Ekonomi Indonesia: Analisis Urgensi Penempatan Atase Pertanian Untuk Meningkatkan Peluang Ekspor Hasil Pertanian di Afrika

Afrika saat ini menjadi salah satu kawasan dengan proyeksi pertumbuhan pasar paling menjanjikan di dunia, dengan estimasi populasi mencapai ±2,5 miliar jiwa pada 2050. Kondisi ini membuka peluang besar bagi Indonesia untuk melakukan diversifikasi pasar ekspor produk agrikultur yang selama ini relatif terfokus di Asia dan Amerika Serikat. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis urgensi penempatan Atase Pertanian Indonesia di Afrika guna meningkatkan peluang ekspor hasil pertanian. Penelitian menggunakan data sekunder dan dianalisis melalui SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Temuan menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia memiliki kekuatan berupa portofolio komoditas ekspor pertanian (kelapa sawit, kopi, teh, kakao, rempah) yang diakui global serta pengalaman diplomasi ekonomi pada forum G20 dan BRICS. Kelemahan meliputi keterbatasan pengalaman penempatan Atase Pertanian, tingginya biaya logistik, serta kekurangan SDM dan riset pasar agrikultur Afrika. Peluang utama hadir dari pertumbuhan konsumsi agrikultur di Afrika dan implementasi AfCFTA yang memudahkan akses pasar; sedangkan ancaman mencakup persaingan ketat dari China, India, Brasil, dan lainnya. Kajian merekomendasikan peningkatan kapasitas diplomasi teknis pertanian, penempatan Atase Pertanian pada negara-negara strategis Afrika, penguatan promosi ekspor, serta pengembangan kerja sama bilateral di bidang riset, pelatihan, dan alih teknologi agrikultur
