Abstract

The drive for healthy living in this modern era with the fulfillment of food needs for the community is not only seen as only fulfilling food needs, but has also developed into a need for healthy food for people around the world, including in Indonesia. Not only food needs are met, but healthy food must also be met. This healthy rice plant cultivation has a performance benchmark to increase production, productivity, and quality of rice plants that are safe for consumption, competitive and also continuously. Apart from that, of course there are other things that need to be achieved, both in social and environmental aspects. This study aims to determine the impact of the implementation of healthy plant cultivation on farmers' attitudes from social and environmental aspects. This study was conducted using a survey method with a descriptive-quantitative approach. Respondents consisted of members of farmer groups who had implemented healthy plant cultivation in East Lampung Regency using simple random sampling technique with sample proportion allocation from a population of 233 people and 69 people were selected. Healthy Rice Plant Cultivation in East Lampung Regency was categorized as successful because from the social aspect, their attitude of agreeing to implement healthy rice plant cultivation was seen as increasing group meetings, and from the environmental aspect, farmers were seen to be wiser in using chemical fertilizers and pesticides. The success of implementing Healthy Plant Cultivation should be supported by product promotion so that its marketing can be expanded, so that many consumers can enjoy this healthy rice.
