Arabica coffee plantation area in Garut Regency, West Jawa in 2020 was still very limited and production was still low, while demand has continued to increase and its business prospect is good. The purpose of this study is to analyze the value chain; determine the status of sustainability in terms of environmental, economic, social, marketing and policy dimensions; and formulate a sustainability strategy and a suitable business model. To analyze the performance and value chain, descriptive analysis is used; to formulate a business model, the Social Business Model Canvas (SBMC) method is used; and to determine the sustainability status, Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) is used. Results of this study show that the coffee Arabica supply chain was quite short, with only three actors, because production is still limited while demand is quite large. Whole sellers purchased coffee directly from village sellers or farmers. From the results of the Rap-Coffee analysis, it is found that the sustainability status was quite sustainable with an average MDS analysis value of 55.65, and the average stress value of each dimension is 0.17. The results of the MDS analysis show that the social dimension had the highest index value, at 62.45 followed by the environment at 59.01, economics at 53.00, the policy at 51.92, and marketing at 51.87. Based on the results of the SBMC analysis, it is suggested that increasing the capacity of business actors and establishing institutions that can access financing as well as off-takers are solutions to problems of productivity, standardization, and capital. Cooperatives can be an appropriate institutional model and can be developed into a corporation in accordance with the Minister of Agriculture No.18 of 2018.
