Pemanfaatan smartphone oleh petani dalam mengembangkan usaha di bidang pertanian kini sudah merupakan praktik biasa di Indonesia. Petani padi sawah menggunakan smartphone sebagai media informasi, edukasi dan hiburan.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku determinan penerimaan teknologi terhadap penggunaan smartphone oleh petani padi sawah. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mempergunakan pendekatan Model Penerimaan Teknologi (Technology Acceptance Model). Analisis jalus dilakukan dengan mempergunakan model persamaan structural yang diduga dengan metode partial least square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemudahan penggunaan smartphone berpengaruh positif terhadap kegunaan dan sikap menggunakan smartphone, dan sikap menggunakan berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku menggunakan smartphone, serta perilaku menggunakan smartphone berpengaruh positif terhadap penggunaan smartphone sesungguhnya. Intervensi mendorong petani kecil untuk menggunakan smartphone terutama untuk kegiatan usahatani berdampak positif pada hasil usahatani.

The use of smartphones by farmers in developing businesses in the agricultural sector is needed in accessing agricultural information. Most farmers have used smartphones as a medium of information, education and entertainment. To find out the factors that influence the use of smartphones using the technology acceptance method. This study aims to (1) determine the characteristics of farmers (2) to determine the technology acceptance model of smartphone use. The data used are primary and secondary data, processed using descriptive analysis, and partial least squares (PLS). The results of this study are (1) the characteristics of farmers, namely smartphone ownership, gender, age, education, land area, experience, income, production, duration, quota, smartphone shop, family support. (2) the perception of ease is significant to the perception of usefulness, the perception of convenience is significant to the attitude, the attitude is significant to the behavior, the factors that have a significant influence on the perception of the convenience, the factors that have a significant influence on the attitude, the factors that have a significant influence on the actual use and significant behavior towards actual use.
