­Faktor Penentu Adopsi Pupuk Organik Cair Urin Kambing pada Petani Padi: Pendekatan Theory of Planned Behavior

Abstract

Pemanfaatan urin kambing sebagai bahan baku pupuk organik cair (POC) merupakan salah satu langkah pengelolaan limbah peternakan yang dapat mendukung praktik pertanian berkelanjutan. Walaupun ketersediaan bahan bakunya relatif melimpah, penerapan POC berbahan urin kambing oleh petani masih belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh sikap, norma subjektif, kontrol perilaku persepsian, serta niat terhadap perilaku petani dalam mengadopsi POC urin kambing berdasarkan kerangka TPB, sekaligus menentukan faktor yang memberikan pengaruh paling besar terhadap perilaku tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Duren, Kecamatan Talun, Kabupaten Blitar selama Februari hingga Maret 2026. Sebanyak 80 petani padi dipilih sebagai responden melalui teknik proporsional yang kemudian dipilih secara acak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang kemudian dianalisis dengan metode path analysis pada perangkat lunak IBM SPSS Statistics 27. Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel sikap tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap niat maupun perilaku petani. Norma subjektif terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap niat (β = 0,255; p = 0,037), tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap perilaku aktual. Sementara itu, kontrol perilaku persepsian memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan baik terhadap niat (β = 0,369; p = 0,001) maupun perilaku aktual (β = 0,323; p = 0,001). Niat juga terbukti berperan positif dan signifikan dalam membentuk perilaku aktual petani (β = 0,561; p < 0,001). Berdasarkan analisis pengaruh total, kontrol perilaku persepsian menjadi faktor yang paling dominan dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,530. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan adopsi POC urin kambing perlu diarahkan pada penguatan keterampilan teknis petani, peningkatan akses terhadap sarana dan sumber daya pendukung, serta pengembangan kepercayaan diri petani dalam memproduksi dan memanfaatkan POC secara mandiri.

The utilization of goat urine as a raw material for liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) represents an effective livestock waste management strategy that can support sustainable agricultural practices. Despite the relatively abundant availability of this resource, the adoption of goat urine-based LOF among farmers remains suboptimal. This study aimed to examine the effects of attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, and intention on farmers’ adoption behavior toward goat urine-based LOF using the TPB framework, as well as to identify the factor exerting the greatest influence on such behavior. The research was conducted in Duren Village, Talun District, Blitar Regency, Indonesia, from February to March 2026. A total of 80 rice farmers were selected as respondents using proportional sampling followed by random selection. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using path analysis with IBM SPSS Statistics 27. The results indicated that attitude did not have a significant effect on either farmers’ intention or actual behavior. Subjective norm had a positive and significant effect on intention (β = 0.255; p = 0.037), but it did not significantly influence actual behavior. Meanwhile, perceived behavioral control exerted a positive and significant effect on both intention (β = 0.369; p = 0.001) and actual behavior (β = 0.323; p = 0.001). Intention was also found to positively and significantly influence farmers actual behavior (β = 0.561; p < 0.001). Based on the total effect analysis, perceived behavioral control emerged as the most dominant factor, with a coefficient value of 0.530. These findings suggest that efforts to increase the adoption of goat urine-based LOF should focus on strengthening farmers’ technical skills, improving access to supporting facilities and resources, and enhancing farmers’ confidence in independently producing and utilizing liquid organic fertilizer.
